40 Percent of Kansas Wheat Rates Good to Excellent

For the week ending Sunday, topsoil moisture supplies rated 15% very short, 27% short, 51% adequate, and 7% surplus, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 15% very short, 29% short, 52% adequate and 4% surplus.
Winter wheat condition rated 8% very poor, 18% poor, 34% fair, 37% good, and 3% excellent.
Weekly reports will begin March 1 for the 2021 season.
