Kansas Water Authority Meeting in Topeka

The Kansas Water Authority (KWA) will meet Jan. 24 at the Ramada Inn Convention Center, Downtown Topeka, 420 E 6th Street in Topeka. The meeting will begin at 8 a.m.
On Tuesday, January 23, the KWA as well as representatives from each of the 14 Regional Advisory Committees will be meeting with Legislators and committees.

As the state's water office, KWO conducts water planning, policy coordination and water marketing as well as facilitates public input throughout the state.
The agency prepares the KANSAS WATER PLAN, a plan for water resources development, management and conservation. KWO also reviews all water laws and makes recommendations to the Governor and Legislature for needed legislation.
